Ms Anu Verma works at the intersection of land rights, pastoralism, gender justice and climate justice, supporting movements, communities and collective action across Asia and globally. As Asia Regional Coordinator, she works with grassroots leaders, people’s organisations, women’s groups, pastoralist communities, civil society organisations and global partners to connect local priorities with regional and global spaces. Her work spans advocacy, partnerships, movement-building, strategic convening and community-led governance of land, livelihoods and natural resources. Ms Verma is particularly focused on advancing women’s land rights, amplifying pastoralist voices, strengthening commons and community stewardship, and building grassroots leadership.
