Dr Anil Kashyap

Bio

Dr Anil Kashyap is a thought leader and institution builder with background in construction and real estate academia in India and abroad. He has led the transformation of NICMAR campuses in Pune and Hyderabad into State Private universities, added Delhi NCR campus and NICMAR online – a digital education vertical, to name a few to his credit and also served as Founding Chancellor of NICMAR Universities for 4 years.

Dr Kashyap serves on various boards and committees - Advisory Committee (IMAC) for Centre of Excellence at SPA Delhi, Trustee of RASTA Trust and FESTRA Foundation, working towards sustainable communities. Dr Kashyap has held senior academic leadership roles in several large universities in the United Kingdom.

Dr Kashyap is Distinguished Alumni of NIT Kurukshetra, SPA New Delhi  and Ulster University in the UK. Dr Kashyap received training in Higher Education Leadership and Change Management from Harvard University. His endeavour for Higher Education in India is to transform built environment education to fill the skill gap for meeting the grand vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’. In doing so, Dr Kashyap is leading the establishment of a specialist Real Estate University announced by CREDAI National President Mr Shekhar Patel in his inaugural speech in May 2025

Shri Shekhar G Patel is National President CREDAI and Managing Director of Ganesh Housing Corporation Limited, one of the most respected and innovative developers in Ahmedabad. With his innovative thinking and mindset, he has consistently redefined the paradigms of urban development. Under his leadership, Ganesh Housing has become synonymous with cutting-edge planning, sustainable construction practices, efficient project execution, strategic marketing, and robust financial governance.

Shekhar Patel is widely recognized for pioneering the LPV Advantage — a unique formula focused on Location, Planning, and Value — which has become a benchmark for excellence in real estate development. His ability to seamlessly integrate design aesthetics with functional value has set new standards in quality housing and commercial infrastructure.

His leadership style is marked by integrity, innovation, and agility — qualities that have made him a transformative force in the sector. He is often referred to as a game-changer, not only for his achievements at Ganesh Housing but also for his broader vision of urban growth and community-centric development.

As the current President of CREDAI India, Shekhar Patel brings his strategic insight and passion for progress to the national stage. In this role, he actively advocates policy reforms, sustainable urbanization, and the professionalization of the real estate industry. His tenure reflects a deep commitment to shaping a more transparent, efficient, and investor-friendly real estate ecosystem in India.

He has special passion for Sustainability and Real Estate Education. He has embarked on a very special project of setting up of a Real Estate University, with net-zero campus on 100 acre site, in Ahmedabad, to transform the real estate profession in India from a learner and its real estate career perspective.

Bio

Architect Mukesh Mehta, Chairman of MM Project Consultants Pvt. Ltd., is a global leader in sustainable, inclusive urban and rural development, best known for pioneering the Dharavi Redevelopment Project and advancing citizen-centric, equity-focused models of growth. Embedding himself in Dharavi from 1998, he conducted 2,500+ resident meetings to co-design a social-entrepreneurship–driven model that integrates informal communities into the formal economy; he also helped redraft Maharashtra’s Development Control Regulations and informed national housing programs under HUPA—creating scalable frameworks that unite housing with education, healthcare, livelihoods, culture, and eco-sensitive planning for slum-free cities and modernised villages.

An esteemed speaker at UN Habitat, Harvard, Berkeley, Columbia, and the London School of Economics, Mr. Mehta collaborates internationally to advance sustainable urban policy and continues to mentor transformative educational and environmental initiatives in India and beyond.
